Introducing Meaningful Possibilities for Learning, Education and Management of New Teachnologies
Learning Technologist, National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI).
Having lived and worked abroad for several years teaching English as a Foreign Language I now work primarily in instructional design developing online content to supplement face-to-face learning as part of blended learning courses. The world is changing rapidly with regards to technology and the current generation of university students have high expectations of how that technology should be used and in many cases I think the higher education workforce are ill-equipped to deal with that.
I hope that the IMPLEMnT will give educators greater independence in the use of learning technologies in their classrooms and the ability to make informed choices about which tools are used, even if those tools turn out to be paper and pen.

The Brighton team are excited to be taking on the development side of the Implemnt project, working with the team to plan requirements and design an effective and accessible web resource for teaching staff.
The team believe they can prove the effectiveness of the Implemnt site by giving staff the examples they need on demand, increasing their confidence in the use of blended learning in their teaching.
